Lili Rodriguez is a student at Smith Elementary School in Oakwood, Ohio. Lili is an amazingly caring, fun, kind and strong student. She was born with a condition called Arthrogryopsis, which means she was born with joint contractures. Often, the muscles around these joints are thin, weak, stiff or missing. Lili's lower extremities were affected and therefore her legs are contracted. With the goal of gaining more mobility in the future, she has undergone four major surgeries. She hopes to dance, participate in gymnastics, play baseball and many other activities once all her surgeries are completed. Lili believes a service dog will be a great companion for her at all her doctors' appointments as well as a great help around the house. Thank you to everyone for donating to help raise money for Lili's service dog!
